The Kindergarten year encourages youngsters to use their natural sense of curiosity and enthusiasm, thus assuring an exciting adventure for both student and teacher. Although there is an underpinning of structured content material in the eight units of the curriculum, class sessions will include such activities as role play, arts and crafts projects, and a special "rug area" where students will do some serious and fun listening.

Another feature of the Kindergarten year is a letter to parents concerning each unit of study which seeks to involve the home in the child's religious development. Through both home and class activities, the child will come to feel comfortable with God and church.

Theme: God is revealed in creation, maker of all that is seen and unseen; we thank Him and know Him through Jesus.
