Submission Guidelines

Are you interested in submitting an article or photograph for either the Newsletter or the website? Great! We are always on the lookout for new material and we welcome the submission of news articles, photos, essays, poetry, book reviews, and letters. Please note that the editorial board and/or webmaster reserves the right to modify and/or reject articles, photos, etc.

Photographic requirements

If you wish to submit slides or prints, you must send them to the Church office [70 Jefferson Street, Providence, RI 02908] and include a self addressed stamp envelope (in order to return your materials.) Your photos will be returned in a timely manner but we reserve the right to define "timely."

If you wish to submit digital photos (preferred format) please note the following:

  1. Acceptable file formats: tif/tiff, raw or jpg
  2. The more resolution we have to work with, the better our chances are of producing a high quality image.
  3. The larger the image, the better.
  4. If you use compressed jpg files, it is best to use as little compression as possible. Consult your camera's instruction manual.
  5. Submit images as is. Please do not crop or color correct your images nor should you convert them to black and white — we will handle that.
