Biblical Verses concerning the Theogical Virtue of Love

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
Deuteronomy 6:5

He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is he who loves me.
John 14:21

This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:12, 13

If I give away all I have, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
John 13:3

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
I John 3:16

Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God; for God is love.
I John 4:7,8

Owe no one anything, except to love on another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:8

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
II Thessalonians 2:16, 17
